Pannettone

Panettone is a sweet bread loaf that was created in Milan in the early 20th century and is usually prepared during Christmas season. It has a singular fluffy and airy dough, which result from a multiple days proofing. The dough is usually flavoured with candied fruits such as orange, lemon and raisins but it can be found in other varieties such as plain or with chocolate chips.
